The Farm at King of Crops

The Farm at King of Crops grows high quality fruits and vegetables for King of Pops as well as local Farmers Markets and the Salad Club.  Due to food safety concerns, the farm is open by appointment only.  If you are interested in visiting the farm, check out the tours page or e-mail farm@kingofcrops.com

Produce

King of Crops farm grows a great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.  With unique and heirloom varieties, our transitional farm uses organic practices and is working towards our organic certification.  You can be assured that King of Crops food is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. 

Examples of our seasonal crops include: lettuce, arugula, slicer and cherry sized tomatoes, sweet and hot peppers, eggplant,  sugar snap peas, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, melons, assorted herbs, ginger, lemongrass, kale, collard greens, and cucumbers.

Apprenticeship Program

In addition to our produce, we are also growing the next generation of farmers.  The King of Crops Apprenticeship program is a great way to get started in the farming world.  Apprentices get hands on learning experiences, educational opportunities, and live on the farm.  Click on the link below to learn more about becoming a farm apprentice.
