July and August

Summer Nursery Hours Begin July 16th:

Beginning July 16th, the nursery will be open Friday 12 pm - 4 pm and Saturday 9 am - 4 pm.  For the rest of July and August, the Nursery will be closed on Sundays.  The Nursery will begin full hours (including Sundays) again in September.  If you have any questions, or need any help, contact our Nursery Manager.

September and October

Farm Movie Night:

Our third and final Farm Movie Night for the season will be on September 16th.  We will be showing My Neighbor Totoro, and is appropriate for all ages.  The Gate will open a little earlier this time as it will be getting dark earlier- gates open at 7:30 pm and the movie will begin at dark.  More details on our events page.

Georgia Native Plant Society West Chapter Workshop:

Our Propagation and Nursery Manager Katie Flint will be the Keynote speaker for the Georgia Native Plant Society West Chapter Workshop on Saturday September 16th.  The workshop begins at 8:30 am and will be wrapping up at 12:30 pm, and Katie will be speaking at 11:15 am.  Her presentation will cover techniques for propagating native plants, and will have native plants for sale at the workshop.  It all gets kicked off at the Carrollton Ag Center, so don't miss it!  Click here to see the Workshop Flyer.

Douglas County September Saturdays Festival:

Catch us at the September Saturdays Festival at the Douglas County Courthouse on September 23.  Want more information on the festival?  Check out their website here.

Amanda Jewel Floral + Design Workshop

Georgia State Master Gardeners Conference:

We will have a vendor booth at the Master Gardeners Conference on Saturday, October 7.  We will have a selection of native plants and edibles that will be more than happy being planted out this fall for next season.  The Georgia State Master Gardeners Conference will be held at the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center, and the Marketplace will be open for Master Gardeners and the public for your plant shopping pleasure! 

King of Crops Farm Fall Festival:

Do you love fall?  So do we!  This year we are going to do the season up right by doing our first ever Fall Festival!  More details to come, so keep an eye on our website and Facebook page, and set aside October 21st to come spend a day on the farm!
